Webinar: Will the First Autonomous Vehicles Deliver Packages, Not People?

Featuring Colin Langan

Colin will discuss his new study of autonomous vehicle delivery, which will be released in conjunction with the webinar. While most autonomous vehicle (AV) startups have focused on rideshare, Colin believes the autonomous delivery opportunity is more compelling given lower technology hurdles and better economics. He will review why removing the human passenger will enable the technology to reach the market faster. His study highlights the delivery market is already substantial, accounting for close to 1 trillion miles today. More importantly, AV delivery economics are significantly better than AV rideshare. Despite industry hype, getting the cost of AV rideshare below personal car ownership is surprisingly difficult.

Following Colin’s presentation there will be plenty of time for Q&A. A copy of the study will be provided to all attendees.
